Factors to Consider before installing a Split AC

Before installing an indoor unit, make sure the wall is strong. It must be capable enough to bear the weight of the AC unit. The wall should also be dry and free of dirt and oil. The surrounding of the indoor unit requires around 15 centimeters open space. This will allow a comfortable and efficient air flow. Both above and below the installation, sufficient space must be there. When it comes to the distance between the unit from the ground, it should be around 8 feet or more. This will allow perfect cooling in the space.

When you are fixing aluminum bracket of split AC, the bracket must be given proper tilting angle. This allows water to flow efficiently from the pipe. In case, if the tilt is not proper, water cannot move properly from the copper tubes. This may damage the unit completely. The indoor and outdoor unit should necessarily be installed at a spot away from environment exposure directly. Then, the outdoor unit of the split AC should be placed on a dry surface. The outdoor unit of the air conditioner constitutes main components of the AC like a condenser, a compressor, and the fan motor. If you fail to do so, the unit will vibrate. This can again cause the breaking of copper tubes. The vibrating unit also makes terrible noise which is extremely distracting.

Well, the distance between the indoor and the outdoor component plays an important role. The coolant flows between the split ac indoor and outdoor unit. If the distance between the indoor and outdoor unit is not proper, it will lead to a loss of energy. The maximum distance cannot exceed 15 meters.
